A shared sorrow - half a sorrow. After the acute inflammation of my left shoulder, which I have just successfully overcome and which robbed me of six months of sporting progress, I now have a new "colleague" for at least another six months, which will hopefully be necessary for my recovery. This colleague is called "Complete rupture of the distal end of the right biceps brachii tendon without retraction." Or, in other words, a torn biceps tendon. Yesterday I had surgery. It was successful. Now I have a long rehabilitation ahead of me, after which I hope to be back in action. The doctor said that in 99% of such cases, patients fully recover their functionality and can return to their previous life without restrictions, including strength training, fitness, and bodybuilding. I really hope so! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to ORTO Clinic and all the clinic staff for their support and the surgery they have performed so far! An excellent example in the medical field, a clinic with high-level specialists, pleasant premises, and comprehensive services! And, moreover, very humane and attentive! I would like to say a special thank you to the two good souls who have been there for me the most throughout this whole process, namely the excellent physiotherapist Rihards Mailitis and the excellent traumatologist and orthopedist Andrejs Finogejevs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
